The Perfect Circle
3 years ago, we set out on something new and exciting. in different directions.
3 years of self discovery, through our seperate ups and downs. through our own happy moments and into our own phase of conflicts and differences.
3 years later, we met again.
back then, it was the beginning. right now, what's gone has been long gone.
long gone for me, but for others, the time may not be long enough.
i guess we both learn more about ourselves during these 3 years.
what we like, what we love, what we can tolerate, and what we will never be able to accept.
what has started back then has already ended, and we're back to the same spot that we were. but somehow, the same spot that we are on now doesn't seem so similar after all.
the places have not changed much, and the names are all still the same.
then you start to realise the difference in yourself as a person and in your perspectives.
it feels kinda weird. its not like a growing up kinda feeling, but more like a change in you which you can't really pinpoint the exact location of.
whether the change is good or bad, you don't really know.
until something else significant happens in your life. thats when you start to find out how far you have moved on through these 3 years.
sometimes the way life works fascinates me. other times, it just plain confuses me.
