- The Operational Ready Date
what i learn in Pulau Tekong, BMTC1, as a recruit:
(1) don't sign out of the box
(2) don't forget to lock your locker
(3) you can pass your SOC even if you have a stomachache
what i learn in Pasir Laba Camp, SPT, as a lifeguard trainee:
(1) staying in without indenting dinner is a bad idea
(2) eating baked beans and eggs every morning because you didn't indent breakfast is a bad idea
(3) you don't appreciate the camp that you're in until you're posted out of it
in Tuas Naval Base:
2 nalcom athletic meets,
1 rsn athletic meet,
3 iso audits,
1 nalcom swimming meet,
1 rsn swimming meet,
2 nalcom x-country,
1 rsn x-country,
1 rsn basketball tournament,
2 rsn waterpolo tournaments,
numerous stock checks,
numerous times of marking the field,
countless IPPTs,
and even more lifeguard dutys.
i got back my pink IC today. i took a look at it, and it seems to me like only last week that i gave it up in pulau tekong. strange...
