- The Netball
today is my ORD function. that's right, an ORD function just for me from the rest of the people in CCO. we were suppose to play a game then there will be a speech by CO, chief and myself.
the thing about the game is that CO initially asked everyone for their opinion on what game they wanna play. most of them chose badminton and chinese chess, and the only person who chose netball was CO. apparently, she used to be a school team netball player.
somehow, you would have thought that the purpose of asking around is so that we would select the most popular choice. but CO decided to fuck democracy in the face and go ahead to play netball anyway.
on my ORD function~
if i could choose, i would have chosen swimming.
so we go ahead and played this ridiculous game of netball, where no one really know the rules except for CO. so while we were playing, CO would always stop our play and go on to explain some minor minor rules which Senior Warrant Officer (SWO) Lee obviously doesn't give a shit about.
and all i got out of it is a ridiculous singlet tanline...
later we made our speeches:
CO called me a valuable member of the unit. (ya right~)
chief said i kept PT branch together after timothy and kenny left.
as for me, i just told them how i didn't wanna be a lifeguard in the first place and i thank my chief, william and everyone else for the wonderful NS experience that i had. (wonderful, but not wonderful enough for me to wanna go back to it again.)
at the end of the day, i finally received what i call the "badges of freedom". finally, it's almost corporal justin tiong's turn to ORD.
ORD~!!!just @ 00:16
