- The Slight
he asked me to promise not to tell anyone about it, and i promised.
the thought of keeping the promise makes me feel just a hint of integrity,
while the thought of telling makes me feel like a dirty lil' liar.
at that very moment,
that slight hint of ethnicity overrides the overwhelming sense of immorality.
